Job Description
Security personnel must be physically fit and proactive in maintaining a safe environment. Duties include detecting and reporting security breaches, enforcing site policies, and managing unauthorized access when necessary. They are also responsible for documenting incidents, gathering witness statements, and maintaining detailed records of security activities.
Additionally, the role involves overseeing the proper functioning of security equipment by conducting routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, coordinating necessary repairs, and staying updated on the latest security technologies.

At Special Security Services Group Inc., we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our security team. To be considered for a position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 19 years old.
- Education: A high school diploma is required (Law & Security background is an advantage).
- Legal Status: Must be a Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant.
- Physical Fitness: Must be in good physical health to perform security duties effectively.
- Availability: Must be able to work afternoons, midnights, weekends, and statutory holidays (some shifts may be 12 hours).
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Customer Service Skills: Required for concierge and condominium security roles.
- Experience: Previous experience in security is an asset but not mandatory.
- Background Check: Must have no criminal record.
- Teamwork & Professionalism: Ability to work collaboratively and meet client expectations.
- Driver’s License: A Class G Driver’s License is considered an asset.
